Mzuzu University administration yesterday have ordered the closure of the institution following demonstrations. Students were demonstrating over the adjustment of fees that was proposed by the University. According to a memo from university's register Yonamu ngwira says the university has been closed with the aim of ensuring public order and protection of the property. Students were ordered to leave the campus by 5:00 am earlier this  morning.

  The ministry of education in collaboration with the Malawi Nation Examinations Board (MANEB) has today realised the 2023 MSCE results. According to the results 154, 132 candidates who sat for the exams only 83,846 have managed to pass representing  pass rate of 54.40 percent. Among the 72,056 female who sat who the examination only 34721 have managed to pass,which means 48.15 percent of the pass rate.While the 82.076 who sat for examination only 49,125 have managed to pass representing 59.85 percent pass rate.

Paul Pogba  A former Manchester United Paul POGBA has been provisionally suspended from playing football following an anti-doping offence. Earlier in this month the France midfielder was involved in a random  medical test during Juventus match against Udinese After the test a 30 year old, 2018 World cup winner was tested positive for testosterone which made the club to voluntarily suspend the star until verification of the results.However if this is soo Pogba will receive a four year ban from football.

 A renowned musician from Nigeria spyro is expected  to attend one of this year's biggest show sand Musical Festival that is going to be hosted in at Sunbird Nkopola in Nkhotakota on 29 September. There is going to be some other artist from outside the country like Organized family, Kenyatta Hill and Murumba Pitch. Other Local artist that are expected to attend are,Malinga,Janta,Lulu,Merchah and many more. The Standard ticket is at K30000 and on the door is K40000.

  Luis Rubiales The president of Spanish Football Association has resigned from his duties after he kissed Jennifer Hermoso during Women's World Cup win. In his statement on x tweeter account Rubiales said,"Good night.Today I transmitted at 9:30 PM to the acting President,Mr Pedro pocha my resignation from the position of president of the FA.I have also informed you that I have done the same with my position in the vice president so that it can be replaced,after the quick suspension arrived by FIFA,plus the rest of open proceedings against me,it is evident that I will be able to return to my position." Since the kissing scandal Rubiales has been facing alot of criticism from women in the team.This was after Hermoso told the media that she was not comfortable with the kiss.This made women in the dressing room to stop playing in the team until Rubiales resign.

Two female musicians by the name Wendy Harawa and Kelli Divine  have registered success after conducting two productive shows in the capital City Lilongwe on two September this month. Early this month a young dancehall artist conducted a show where she was launching her extended program and to the surprise the show attracted alot of people. The show had some supporting artist like Eli Njuchi, Chizmo,Pop young, Malinga just to mention a few. On the same day another veteran female gospel artist had a show which was attended by other international artist. A lot of people believe that these artist are huslers who need to be recognised as female huslers of all time .
